As we needed leadership, the first activity was to elect the class officers.<br /> The following were elected:<br /> <br /> &lt;poem&gt;<br /> President: Paul. Lillengreen<br /> Vice President: Joy Halverson<br /> Secretary: Virginia Thiemens<br /> Treasurer: Betty Brommer<br /> Council Representative: Carol Lightle<br /> Class Advisor: Mr. McKay<br /> &lt;poem&gt;<br /> <br /> We were initiated by the seniors on the evening of September 23. We enjoyed<br /> ourselves even tho we were put through many embarrassing stunts.<br /> <br /> We returned the party on the evening of April 1.<br /> <br /> During the year, Virginia Forthhoffer and Jane Marker left us. A Latvian girl was<br /> one of our group for a few weeks,<br /> <br /> Then as sophomores we started the new school year with an &quot;almost new&quot; member,<br /> Jane Marker, Bobby Franklin moved to Oregon and Ruth Conner left us in December.<br /> <br /> Many of the boys participated in athletics, Carol Lightle was chosen as a yell leader<br /> and Harold Rhoads did good work on the F.
