'''SENIOR CLASS HISTORY'''

On the morning of September 5, 1950, twenty-five nervous “Frosh” entered the
hallowed halls of Reardan High School. The following new members: John English,
Bob Headington, Shirley Madison, Patsy Heslin, Ervin Christensen, Betty Christensen,
Elsie Rhoads, Claudine Rhoads and Marjorie Fields joined our class. Mary Ellen
Edwards joined our class on October 10, but soon withdrew. John English also withdrew
at the end of the first semester.

Officers for the year were:

On the evening of Sept. 25, the seniors initiated us, but we had fun just the same.
In the spring we gave the seniors a return party.

On the morning of September 4, 1951, we entered Reardan High School as
Sophomores. Two of our members, Betty Christensen and Marjorie Fields did not enroll.
Pat Kinservick and Ann Whipple enrolled as new members. As in the previous year,
about ten of the Sophomore boys participated in the various sports. The F. F. A.
judging team, consisting of George Carstens, Bruce Tramm, Tom Rogers, and Ronald
Walther, went to Portland to judge at the Pacific International Livestock Show.

The Sophomore class party was held on the evening of March 7. The evening was
spent in square dancing. Mr. Virgil Rux called the dances.

On the morning of September 2, 1952, we entered the doors of Reardan High
School as Juniors, Being upper classmen, we felt very proud of ourselves. Lloyd
Tremer was added to our numbers, but during the year the following dropped out,
Sandra Tibbet, Claudine Rhoads and Eddy Piper.

Nearly all the junior boys participated in athletics this year. John Schultz and
Bruce Tramm received honorable mention in the field of basketball. John Schultz was
given a place on the first five All Star Basketball Team during the District play-off.
Bruce Tramm received a place on the second five. Three boys from the junior class
were on the judging team, namely, Paul Carstens, Gerald Brommer, and John Schultz.
These boys made an excellent record at the Portland International Livestock Show.

The main activity of the year was the Junior class play entitled "Love Is In The
Air". The play directed by Mr. Lizee was received most favorably.

"Stairway to the Stars" was the theme of our Junior-Senior Prom. The gym was
decorated gaily for this occasion, Each guest was provided with a memory book.

The tables were covered with white paper and in the center there were silver stars
with angel hair around the bottom, forming a base for the stars. Musical numbers
interspersed the toasts, prophecy and will. Servers were from the sophomore class. Music
was furnished by the Lewis and Clark orchestra. JoAnn Tierney was chairman for the
Prom.
