On September 4, 1951, thirty-three nervous freshmen walked through the doors of<br />
Reardan High School.<br />
<br />
Thirty-five intelligent sophomores enrolled in September 1952. Shirley Gardiner<br />
and Jack Ferrell were new additions to our class. Pete Bisson left before the year was<br />
finished. Harold Ackerman joined our class soon after school opened.<br />
<br />
On September 8, 1953, we entered Reardan High School as upperclasmen. Two<br />
of our former members, John Stark and Jack Ferrell were missing. After a few weeks<br />
of school, Harold Ackerman withdrew.<br />

Twenty-nine very intelligent seniors enrolled in September 1954. Two girls, Lorraine<br />
Edgerton and Shirley Gardiner were missing from the enrollment. Shortly after school<br />
started, Kay Pehrson joined us.<br />

<br />
One of our first high school activities was our initiation. We wore costumes all day,<br />
and at night we were truly initiated by the seniors in the auditorium, Donna Paul<br />
received a prize for the best girl’s costume and Richard Headington received one for<br />
the boy’s best costume.<br />

The first activity of the junior year was the play, “The Inner Willy". The play was<br />
directed by Mr. Stelljes and was favorably accepted by the public.<br />
<br />
The theme of the Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom was “Oriental Gardens”. The<br />
music was provided by Al Reeve’s and Ed Grier’s Orchestra from Cheney. Clifford<br />
Carstens was chairman for the event.<br />
