One of the first major events this year was the carnival. For the fourth year in
succession, the Queen has come from our class. In preceeding years the Queens have
been the following: Winnie Lou Puls, freshman; Joyce Heldstab, sophomore, Carol
Halverson, junior, and Marian Wendlandt for the senior year, Also, a member of our
class, Winnie Lou Puls, was chosen “Miss Inland Empire”—quite an honor.

On March 17 and 18, we presented the senior play, “The Brainstorm”. This was
a continuation of last years play, “The Inner Willy”. The play was directed by Mr.
Stelljes, and was a huge success.

The spring activities included Senior Day at Lake Coeur d’Alene, Career Day at
Wilbur, the Junior-Senior Prom and a dinner at the Dessert Oasis and Ice Follies
following given us by our parents.

As you can recall, the senior class of 1955 was always outstanding in dramatics.
One night as Mr, Wisdom was watching television he saw some old familiar faces.
Here is what the television revealed:

The first scene was MARIANNE REMMERS and ED BROMMER who are now in the
leading roles of “One Mans Family”.

PAT HANNING is also in television. “Our Gal Pat’ is “Searching for Tomorrow”
to find the “Guiding Light” and her “Love of Life”, “Young Dr. Malone”, who will give
her “A Brighter Day”.

CAROL LYNCH is Joe Friday's “Backstage Wife” on Thursday’s. They are going
to “Feather Their Nest” and live on “Whispering Street.”

JOANNE WEYEN is now the stand in for Marjorie Maine as Ma Kettle with LEROY
REMMERS as Pa Kettle.

HEIDI SCHMITT is now "Stella Dallas" and is keeping house for “Just Plain DICK
[HEADINGTON].”

MARIAN PRYOR is “Searching for Adventure” which ends in a “Climax”, on
“Masquerade Party”.

CLAUDIA STUTHEIT married the “The Millionaire” and said she “Struck It Rich”
by “Breaking The Bank”.

CLIFFORD CARSTENS now has the title of "Killer Carstens" and keeps them busy
on “Dragnet”.

JACK LAVENDER is now replacing “Liberace” but first he attended ten years of
beauty school.

On the late show Mr. Wisdom sees MICKEY SWANSON in “Hit The Deck”. Mickey
really went overboard.

PAUL JOHNSON just removed Nora Drake’s [now played by LOLA HOFFMAN]
partial plate on "The Medic".

ED GODWIN is now Edward R, Godwin on “See It Now”. He is a little short on
news, but a big man on T. V.

During a Boyle Fuel advertisement JIM CLAYTON was seen delivering fuel oil on
his motorcycle. He has been trying to avoid fuel tanks.

DON BAUER is now understudy for Art Carney and is working in the sewers.

NORMAN CLOUSE is now the stand-in for Bill Stern and sings the “Look Sharp” song
on the Pabst Blue Ribbon bouts.

KAY PEHRSON found her “Love of Life” and is now “Captured” in the “Hilltop
House”.

CAROL HALVERSON is now a “Private Secretary” to “Superman” and keeps his
suits pressed.
