One of our first activities as high school students was our initiation.<br />
<br />
As sophomores, we had a dance and a combination sleighing party and going<br />
away surprise for Mr. and Mrs. Stelljes.<br />

On November 17 and 18, 1955, our class presented the Junior play. The play<br />
was well presented and favorably received by the community. The play activities<br />
include:<br />

Name of Play: No More Homework<br />
Place of Action: High School Principals Office<br />
Synopsis of Play: What happens when three high school students<br />
are forced into the roles of principal, vice-president and school secretary of a small<br />
school? This play answers the questions. Should homework be abolished? Should they<br />
stand behind an unpopular teacher? What action, if any, should be taken against an<br />
athlete who is up for disciplinary action? Well, these questions were solved, even tho<br />
one complication swiftly leads to another. The janitor and scrub woman do not add<br />
to the ease of the situation, but rather help to complicate matters further. Finally the<br />
principal returns and situations right themselves, and school returns to normal.<br />
