Our first contest was at the Spokane Interstate Fair, August 27, 1955, where the
team placed third out of sixteen teams competing. Neil Schmitt was sixth high boy.

At Odessa on September 3, the team placed third out of six teams. Tom Schultz
was fourth high boy and Neil Schmitt was ninth.

The team was again third; this time at the Lincoln County Fair. Mike Bisson was
high boy of the contest and Chuck Meye was eighth.

At the Adams County Fair the team won the contest with all team members placing
in the top ten boys. Nine teams competed in this contest. Charles Meye was seventh, Tom
Sepelz eighth, and Ed Hohnstein ninth.

At Pullman on October 1, the team placed ninth out of thirty-three teams. Charles
Weye was twelfth.

Charles Meye, Ed Hohnstein, and Neil Schmitt judged at the Pacific International
Livestock Exposition on October 22, where they placed forty-third out of fifty teams,

At Ritzville this spring the team was second out of seven teams. Walt Clouse was
high boy of the contest and Charles Meye was fourth.

The team that judged at Endicott placed fourth out of nine teams. Jerry Schultz
was eleventh in individual scoring.

Third place was won by the team at the St. John contest. Sixteen teams competed.
Walt`Clouse was fifth and John Humphrey eleventh in individual honors.

The Davenport Fat Stock Preview and judging contest as well as the Spokane
Jerier Livestock Show had not been held when this was written.

At the Spokane Interstate Fair members of the chapter exhibited thirty-two items
winning six blue ribbons, ten red ribbons, and sixteen white ribbons.

At the Lincoln County Fair twenty-four boys entered sixty-one different items receiving
twenty-eight blue ribbons, twenty-four red ribbons, and nine white ribbons. In
the livestock division the boys had nine champions and five reserve champions.

Events planned but yet to occur include a project tour, a parent-son banquet, and
the Junior Livestock Show.
