This factory made nylon jackets similar to letter jackets. They included styles for keeping football players warm on sidelines with all of their pads. The factory was owned by Clay and Patsy Soliday and Cal and his wife Smith, a Spokane trophy and sporting goods dealer. They made jackets in the Mattes building on Broadway Avenue and Lake Street in the early 1970s.
