NEIL BOWIE.
REARDAN, Wash., Aug. 18.—Neil Bowie, 77, pioneer farmer, died late Wednesday at a Spokane hospital, following an illness of several weeks. He was born at Collingwood, Ont., and with his wife came to Washington 54 years ago, settling on a homestead one and. one-half miles south of here. He added to his holdings and retired from active farming about five years ago, although he lived on one of his farms at the time of his death.
He is survived by his widow, Maria. Funeral services will be held Friday at 4 p. m. at the Smith funeral home in Spokane, with the. Rev. L. N. Williams officiating. The body will be sent to Collingwood, Ont., for burial.
