SCHOOLS ENROLL 262 AT REARDAN

REARDAN, Wash., Sept. 7—Superintendent Lewis McKay said today enrollment at Reardan schools was 262, more than a year, ago.

The largest increase is in the first grade. Ninety-five have registered in the high school and 167 in the grade school.

The town of Reardan has hired Charles Lightle as utility man, which includes the work of water superintendent, sewer repairing, and street work. He replaces Clair Kelso, who was water superintendent for four years.

Mondovi Grange will not have its first fall meeting September 9 because of the Lincoln county fair at Davenport. Meetings will resume September 23.

Waukon Grange will have its first meeting September 21.
