FFA Fetes 'Greenhand'
REARDAN, Wash. — John Mann of the Reardan Future} Farmers of America Chapter was presented with an FFA jacket by Jerry Gleesing, manager of Western Farmers Association in Spokane, at the recent parent and son banquet of the Reardan FFA. The award is presented annually to Greenhands who have shown outstanding ability in supervised farming, leadership, cooperation, community service, scholarship, and citizenship.
Main speaker at the banquet was Don Moos, state director of agriculture, Other speakers were Bert L. Brown, director of agricultural education, Dave Fitzsimmons, state FFA vice president from Pomeroy, and Jim Peterson, state FFA president from Reardan.
