SPRING CREEK CEMETERY, LINCOLN COUNTY, WASH., RECORDS 1968

Spring Greek Cemetery is located about 4.2 miles north of Reardan, Wash., near highway No. 231 [from Reardan to Springdale, Wash.) and thence about .2 miles east of the highway. The cemetery is adjacent to and on the west side of the Spring Creek Grange Hall. It is reported that John Surber Sr. gave two acres to establish the cemetery, and that later two additional acres were purchased from John Surber, Sr.

in 1953, Secretary of Spring Creek Cemetery Association was Larry Wayne Landreth (b. Spokane, in. 5 Oct. 1930), farmer Living in vicinity of the cemetery.

No burial register has been kept for those buried in this cemetery, The inscriptions were copied by Lee D. Patchen on April 29 and 30, 1968, and the Lot ownership records on 30 April, 1968,

This cemetery is Located in the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 22, Township 26 North 39 E. W. M. Larry Wayne Landreth has been Secretary of the cemetery association from 1963, His predecessor in that office was John E. Childs.

The earliest burial as indicated from an inscription would seem to be that of L. Donely 1835-1884.
