Only by hard work was a disastrous fire prevented, as the barn stands not more than 15 feet from two bungalows.  The fire was extinguished with, but the loss of the barn which contained considerable hay.

REARDAN, Wash., May 11.—(Special.)—Sunday evening the barn of Gus Finrow caught fire from the inside from an unknown cause. Only by hard work was a disastrous fire prevented, as the barn stands not more than 15 feet from two bungalows. The fire was extinguished with, but the loss of the barn which contained considerable hay.
