BAD FIRE ON DITMAR RANCH
Destroys Wheat and Tools of Threshing Outfit—Loss #1500.
REARDAN, Wash., Sept. 22.—Fire on the Josephine Ditmar ranch, 10 miles southwest of here, burned 500 sacks of threshed wheat and part of a setting of wheat in the stack yesterday. The derrick table, forks and other tools belonging to his threshing outfit were also burned. The loss is estimated at $1500, with no insurance.
Wheat being delivered at this place is breaking all records for previous years.
