RHS Ag Teachers

In the early days the vocational agriculture teacher was called the Smith-Hughes teacher, named after the legislation that required vocational education in high schools. The teacher also served as the advisor to the local chapter of Future Farmers of America (FFA).

Walter Johnson	Sept 1947	May 1953	Rehired to position. Left to become director of Spokane Technical and Vocational School.
John Elliot	Sept 1953	May 1966	First in Washington state to include girls. Took job with SFCC and preidency of Washington Vocational Education Association.
Wally Vog	Sept 1966	May 1967	Left to study on fellowship in Maryland.
Fred Springer	Sept 1967	May 1999	Retired to Hog Acres.
