FRED WAGNER SUCCUMBS.

REARDAN, Wash.,, Jan. 6.~Word was received here that Fred Wagner, 83, retired farmer, died at the home of his daughter in Los Angeles January 3. He was born in Germany, coming to this country at the age of 14. In 1877 he moved from California to this region, where he took up a home a mile north of Reardan.

He was married to Lena Goebelein in 1887, who passed away 30 years ago. Mr. Wagner was a large landowner and for the last 40 years spent the winters in California.

He is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Guy Fleming, Reardan; Mrs, Louis Miller, Canoga Park, Calif.; Mrs. Arthur Johnson, Eureka, Calif.; Mrs. Homer Pike and Miss Anne Wagner, both of Spokane, and Mrs. William Addington of Los Angeles, who is accompanying the body here for burial.
