JUNIOR CLASS [Continued]
Many of the junior boys played on the various athletic teams this year.
Our first activity of the year was the class play, entitled “The Inner Willy”. It was directed by Mr. Delbert Stelljes. The play was very favorably accepted by the public.
“Oriental Gardens” was the theme of our Junior-Senior banquet and prom, held April 30. The gym was decorated in the Oriental fashion. The tables were covered with white paper, Chinese and Japanese symbols and figures were used as center- pieces. Each guest was provided with a traditional memory book. A musical number interspersed the toasts, prophecy and will. The servers were from the sophomore class. The music was provided by Al Reeves and Ed Griel’s orchestra from Cheney. Clifford Carstens was chairman for the entire event.
