On September 8, 1953, twenty-five scared but brave freshmen entered Reardan High School. The class consisted of eighteen students who were graduates of Reardan Grade School, and seven students who came from Long Lake, Four Mound, and Indian Prairie. Cecil Wood, Edward Sherwood and Donna Collier entered our class that year. Cecil left us in December.

Twenty-seven students were enrolled in the Sophomore class of 1954-55. When classes began we noticed that Sharon Ernst and Ed Sherwood did not return, but we had three new members: Lila Lyons, Joe Smith and Bob Frase. Later in the year Lila Lyons and Irene Gardiner withdrew.

On September 6, 1955, twenty-six students enrolled as upper classmen. Phillip Koberstine entered and Nancy Thiemens and Jim Hendrix dropped out.

The opening day of school, September 4, 1956 saw twenty-four seniors enroll. We had two new members, Glenice Robinson and Bob Kirk from Edwall. Cherryl Jacobson later enrolled in the class.
