Dedication
TO MR. HINKLE, veteran "jack-of-all-trades" and versatile custodian of the Reardan Schools for the past 23 years since 1928, owner of a genial personality and alert to all events of the past, present and future, we dedicate this 1950-51 Warwhoop. In addition to his abilities in carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, ‘‘housekeeping,’’ etc., Mr. Hinkle possesses a most remarkable and uncanny talent for remembering, in detail, school events and weather conditions of long-gone days. Mr. Hinkle recalls that, long ago in the history of Reardan High School, two students composed the graduating class and were subjected to various pranks and tricks of the underclassmen during commencement week, this being an amusing custom of the time. His sharp memory has often been revealed by the following approach: "I remember back in the year of --, in the month of --, on (day of month), at -- o’clock--" In all sincerity, we feel that we speak for the entire community and hope that this dedication will be accepted as a token of appreciation for what the , above personality has meant to the Reardan Schools during these many years of valuable service. We feel sure that the honor and distinction this page brings is well deserved and rightfully earned.
