ATHLETIC BANQUET

On the evening of March 31, the Reardan community paid tribute to the football, basketball and baseball players and to the two coaches, at a banquet in the multi-purpose room of the new grade school building.

The dinner was planned by the mothers of the boys, and Indian decorations were used, symbolizing the basketball team, known as the Reardan Indians.

Glen Wisdom, high school principal was master of ceremonies. The program consisted of the following numbers:

Mr. George Fisher, principal of the Cheney High School was the guest speaker of the evening.

Johnnie Schultz presented coach Johnson with a gift certificate from the basketball players, Bob Stuhlmiller presented coach Steele with a gift certificate from the baseball and football boys.

The three yell leaders, Carol Lightle, Janet McDowell and Marion Wendlandt received recognition at the banquet.
