Lincoln-Adams County Music Festival

Davenport Gymnasium March 24th, 1956

The participating schools were: Almira, Creston, Davenport, Harrington, Lind, Washtucna, Odessa, Reardan, Ritzville, Sprague, Wilbur and Othello. The mixed Choral Groups, with Mr. Wayne Hertz, Director of the Music Department of CWCE doing the directing, sang the following:

O God, Thou Faithful God by Brahms
Thanks Be To Thee by Handel
Eternal Praise by Titcomb
American Panorama by Williams
Soon—Ah Will Be Done by Dawson
Gandy Dancers Ball by Waring
Era Of Peace by Williams

The Festival Band conducted by Mr. Justin Grey of Montana State University played the following:

Manhattan Beach—March by Sousa
Cathedral Canyon—Overture by Hansen
Allersellen [All Souls Day] by Strauss
Waltz in Blue by Grundman
Time Out For Jam Session by Handlon
Sempre Fedelis—March by Sousa

Lilac Festival

Spokane, May 18 and 19

The band will parade on May 18 at the Lilac and Stadium Show and also parade in downtown Spokane on the day of the Lilac Parade, May 19.
