SENIOR PLAY

The Senior Class, under the direction of Mr. Lizee and Mr, Wisdom presented the 3-act comedy, “If You Knew Susie”, on April 17 and 18.

THE CAST
Daisy Jinks (dumb, not beautiful maid) Margaret Stuhlmiller Susie Simpkins Bertha Coil Frances Tasha (an art student) Carol Hein Trudy Vane Pane (a society girl] Janet Clinton Aunt Sally (a long-lost aunt) Mary Bergeron Charlene Cassidy (a model) Joyce Delzer Arty Allen (a voice student) Marvel Jacobson Mrs. Chase (a tolerant landlady) Joyce Gifford Bob Barrington (a college boy) Doug McEachran Billy Wate (in love with Charlene) Dale Dahlin Cutey Wolters (a three-letter man) Bernard Thiemens Prof. Chauncy Cloney (the dean) Daniel Plaster

THE PLOT

The scene takes place in a reception room of the exclusive co-ed Bedford College. When Susie was admitted, she sort of stretched the truth about her tent-show family background. Then snooty Trudy discovers it and uses it to make Susie give up Bob. Susie’s 3 friends thereupon rush to the rescue, aided by the finance of one, a not-so-dumb maid, and a campus 3-letter man. They provide Susie with a brother who's a girl, a fiance she’s never seen, and an Aunt Sally, who has a way with Prof. Clooney, the Dean.
