On May 26, 1949, our last class meeting of our freshman year, we elected the following officers for the Sophomore year:

President, Junior Anyan; Vice President, Janet Clinton; Council Rep., Carol Hein; Secretary, Margaret Stuhlmiller; Treasurer, Lucille Pohle; Class Advisor, Mr. Leigh Steele.

We started the year with two new class members. They are Bertha Coil and Dick Compton. Later in the year, we lost Dick as well as Wayne Repp, Harold Rhoads, and John Morris. During the second semester Don Reid joined us.

Janet Clinton, a member of our class, is one of the yell leaders.

Our class is well represented in sports this year.

We gave our Sophomore party on April 14. It was an “old-time” dance.

Several of our boys participated in the school's athletics.
