THE PLOT
The scene takes place in a reception room of the exclusive co-ed Bedford College. When Susie was admitted, she sort of stretched the truth about her tent-show family background. Then snooty Trudy discovers it and uses it to make Susie give up Bob. Susie’s 3 friends thereupon rush to the rescue, aided by the finance of one, a not-so-dumb maid, and a campus 3-letter man. They provide Susie with a brother who's a girl, a fiance she’s never seen, and an Aunt Sally, who has a way with Prof. Clooney, the Dean.
