A Branch of the Great Catholic Society Established Here,


A number of the prominent Catholics of this city met in St. Ignatius’ schoolroom last evening and organized a branch of the St. Vineent de Paul Society tor the relief of the Catholic poor of Spokane Falls. The following officers were elected: President, James Monoghan; vice president, Michael S. Caplice; treasurer, S. Haas; secretary, Patrick J. Donohoe.

The members enrolled were: Dr. P. S. Burns, J. Richter, W. R. Condoff, M. S. Caplice, F. A. Amell, Louis Buddee, P. Spellman, W. R. Drewe, J. M. Stout, J. A. Cunningham, W. C, O’Loughtan, J. H. McCabe, J. D, Hettle, Denis Shea, William A, Taffee, Dr. W. T. Webb, J. A, Smyth, S. Haas, James Monoghan, P. J. Donohoe, Frank McGuire, M. Quinlan.
