The Charges Denied.

Reardan Farmers’ Alliance, No. 117, Reardan, Wash., July 6, 1891.—[To the Chronicle.]—Replying to a short article in Lincoln County Times of June 19, saying it is rumored that the alliance grain agent at Reardan is accused of abusing his position, whereat the farmers in that section are highly incensed, and it is said have held an indignation meeting.

In justice to Mr. W. H. Childs, we, as an alliance, positively deny the above statement, or rumor. Mr. Childs, in the presence of seventy-seven members on July 6, challenged any member to bring a charge against him. None were presented, and he was fully exonerated.

J. B. FLEWELLYN,

President Reardan Farmers’ Alliance, No. 117.

FRANK GARBER, Secretary.
