LAPRAY BRIDGE BRINGS $7500

Commissioners Authorize Sale to Power Company.

The county commissioners yesterday authorized the sale of the Lapray bridge, northwest of the city, for $7500 to the Washington Water Power company, which will involve a total payment of $10,000. The water power company will flood the lands, which will make the bridge useless for traffic and proposed to buy it and build the county another bridge three miles down the Spokane river.

Tn addition to the payment of $7500 the company will spend $2500 on the road, which will make a loop around the flooded district, and the county commissioners believe it will serve more traffic, The bridge will also be kept up by adjoining counties, as it is on the line.
