GETS REARDAN ROAD JOB

Louis Johnston win Grade Crescent Highway at Cost of $3366

The contract for grading the Crescent road, north of Reardan, was awarded yesterday to Louis Johnston of Spokane, whose bid was $3366. The engineer's estimate for the work was $3795. Other bids were: Owens Brothers, Reardan, $4402; J. B. Mitchell, Spokane, $4299. The road begins four miles north of Reardan, at the end of permanent highway No. 9, and extends northwest three miles into the Crescent country. The work will start immediately.
