WHEAT AT REARDAN BURNED

Fire Destroys 20 Acres on John Bowie Farm—Was Insured.

REARDAN, Wash., July 29.—Fire of unknown origin caught this afternoon in a 160-acre field of winter wheat of John Bowie, north of here, and destroyed 20 acres of the grain before being extinguished. The wheat was estimated at 35 bushels an acre. It was insured. The Reardan volunteer fire department went to the fire with chemical truck and with aid of neighbors put out the blaze.
