JOHNSON-NASH WEDDING

By candlelight Thursday night, at the Hollywood Temple Methodist Church, with Mrs. A. G. Price playing the traditional wedding marches and nuptial music on the organ, Miss Jeanne Marie Johnson became the bride of Ensign William Read Nash. The Rev. Jack Davis performed the ceremony in the presence of classmates and relatives of the couple.

The couple was attended by Ensign Robert Charles Snoddy and Mrs. Snoddy.

The bride chose a white satin gown with a train. Her finger tip veil was held in place with a halo of orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of gardenias with purple orchids as the center.

Mrs. Snoddy as matron of honor wore white chiffon and her flowers were pink rosebuds. Ensign Nash and his best man, Ensign Snoddy wore the Navy whites.

Both Oregon Alumni

Mrs. Nash is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Johnson of Eureka, Cal. She is a graduate of Oregon State University where she was a member of the Chi Omega sorority.

Following the ceremony the couple were honored with a wedding dinner and reception in the Officers’ dining room at Chresta on Hollywood Beach. Guests were classmates and their wives from the Navigation School, where Ensign Nash is stationed.
