Ex-Banker at Reardan Succumbs

REARDAN, Wash., Dec. 12.—Funeral services for Frank E. Rowland will be tomorrow at 1 p. m. in the Reardan Presbyterian church with the Rev. Erwin Rymes officiating. Burial will be at Mountain View cemetery, Davenport.

Mr. Rowland died Saturday in a Spokane hospital. Born in Ellensburg, he later lived in Davenport where he graduated from high school. He was married to Margret Brockman in 1917. She died in 1957.

During World war I he served in the infantry in France. Following the war he was with the Almira bank until 1927 when the family moved to Reardan, where he took.a position with the Farmer's State bank. At the time of his retirement in 1958 he was manager of the Reardan branch of the Old National bank.

He was a member and past master of the Free and Accepted Masons, lodge No. 146 and past patron of the Order of Eastern Star. He was a member of the Reardan Presbyterian church, American Legion post No. 113 and the Lions club.

Survivors include: Frank W. (Bill) Rowland, and Mrs. Gene (Elaine) Graham, both of Seattle; Dexter, Lewstown, Mont.; George Austin, Spokane; Theodore, Aberdeen, Wash., and three grand-children.
