Ernest ‘Hap’ Wagner

Reardan, Wash.

Memorial service for Ernest G. “Hap” Wagner, 80, is planned for 3 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church in Reardan. The Cremation society of Washington is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Wagner, who was born in Harrington, Wash., died Monday.

He served in the Army in the Pacific during World War II and was a member of the 148th Field Artillery.

Mr. Wagner was a farmer in Lincoln County.

He was a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 113, First Presbyterian Church of Reardan and the Washington Association of Wheat Growers.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Eleanor; three daughters, Denise Bay of Steilacoom, Wash., Melanie Wagner of Bellevue, Wash., and Lynette Peterson of Espanola, Wash.; two brothers, Rudy and John Wagner, both of Harrington; two sisters, Ruth Jantz of Odessa, Wash., and Betty Walker of Spokane; four grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
