AVERT REARDAN FIRE DANGER

Blaze in Bowie Bullding Basement Is Beaten

REARDAN, Wash, July 28.—Fire broke out this morning in the basement of the Bowie block, two-story brick building, on Main [Lake] street. By hard fighting on the part of the fire company the structure was saved.

The building belongs to George M. Snyder of Seattle, and is in charge of his brother [father], M. E. Snyder of Spokane. One room ts occupied by the Pioneer drug store, The Masons’ lodge has one of the second-story rooms.
