Death Car Twisted Wreck

This mangled car is one in which Bruce Mann, 20, Reardan, was killed about 7:45 last night 1.4 miles west of Reardan on the Sunset Highway. In critical condition at Deaconess Hospital is his brother, James, and in serious condition is another brother, Timothy, 7. They are being treated for head and internal injuries. State Trooper Steve Robertson said Mann’s eastbound car struck the rear end of a chemical spray trailer being pulled by a truck driven by Ned B. Landt, 18, Nine Mile Falls. Robertson said the truck and trailer had stopped on the highway. (Apley photo.)
