VACCINATE SCHOOL ‘CHILDREN


Reardan Health Officer Gives Preventive Free to Youngsters.

REARDAN, Wash., —Dr. George. H. Green, health officer of Reardan, has arranged with Dr. Anderson, health officer of Spokane for a supply: of influenza vaccine, which has proved efficient in Chicago.

School children of Reardan will be vaccinated free and the charge to others will nominal, to pay for the vaccine.

Dr. Green has again placed the ban, lifted on Thanksgiving day, on all public gatherings, churches, lodges, pool rooms and picture shows.

"The influenza is spreading extensively in the rural districts near here," said Dr. Green. "Edwall has a number of cases. There are comparatively few cases of influenza in the town of Reardan.
