SPOKANE MAN HURT IN CRASH

Wife, Two Children Escape Serious Injury.

DAVENPORT, Wash., May 18.— William L. Long, 126 Coplen Park, Spokane, was cancers, injured in a car accident east of Reardan last midnight, suffering a broken spleen and internal injuries. His wife and their two children, Patsy and Clarence, escaped with minor injuries as the Long car left the highway and crashed into a utility pole.

Dr. John Driscoll, Reardan, attended the injured man, who later was taken to a Spokane hospital in the C. W. Bumgarner ambulance from Davenport, with the assistance of Deputy Sheriff Warren C. Kennett and State Patrolman L. Warn.
