REARDAN WATER SUPPLY IS GOOD

REARDAN, Wash. July 2.—Mayor D. E. Dye said the town would have an adequate supply of water this summer, the first in several years. The city wells can now produce over 200,000 gallons of water a day.

A new pump was recently installed in the well on the Henry Mahrt estate, one and a half miles northeast of town. Since the new well has been in operation several residents in the north part of town are having city water for the first time. The city water cistern was given a thorough cleaning Sunday. Plans are being made to replace the old wooden water mains with steel pipe in the fall.

The business houses here will remain open Saturday.
