HE HAS CONFIDENCE—IN SPOKANE'S GROWTH

Engineer Richmond Is Planning to Build Several Cottages Here.

J. T. Richmond, a former resident of this city, and a well known railroad engineer, who left here for Texas several years ago, where he has since been in the employ of the Southern Pacific, is in the city for several weeks, this being his first visit since he left here. Mr, Richmond is the owner of considerable property here, and has let the contract for a handsome five- room cottage on a lot which he purchased in Liberty Park nearly 10 years ago. Mr. Richmond is putting up this cottage for the use of his father, William Richmond, who is a resident of this city, He also contemplates the erection of several other cottages in different parts of the city in the near future.

Mr. Richmond has much confidence in the future of this city, and believes that he can find no better investment for his money than to put it into improvements here.
