Elise Aldrich Bride; Honored by Shower

A linen shower honoring Miss Elise Aldrich was given Saturday afternoon by her music teacher, Mrs, Josephine Clark, W823 Nora. Miss Geraldine Hawley and Miss Trula Polwarth were assisting hostesses. The guests spent the afternoon making a scrapbook for Miss Aldrich.

Little hearts and cupids were the decorations theme in pink and white, A pink parasol was hung suspended over the gift table.

Wedding Today.

Guests included Miss Aldrich, Mrs, Jean Terry West, Mrs. H. P. Aldrich, Mrs. M. C. Finrow, Miss Margaret Robbins, Mrs. H. J. Mattes and daughter, Margaret, Mrs. Willis Randall, Miss Gwendolyn Merrick, Mrs. E. H. Polwarth, Mrs. John Groschupf, Mrs. A. C. Moore and daughter, Maurine, Miss Allison Clark, Miss Helen Mitchell, Miss Gladys Hawley and Mrs. L. O. Swineheart. Guests from Reardan included Mrs. George Ekins and daughter, Ethelmae, Mrs. Tom Landreth, Mrs. O. E. Mahrt and daughter, Helen, and Mrs. Nelson Raymond [Raymer].

Miss Aldrich became the bride of Dr. A. A. Towner this afternoon at 3:30 at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Aldrich, E356 Seventeenth.
