Congressional Medal of Honor Winner Is Laid to Rest

The body of Pfc. Joseph E. Mann of Reardan, Wash., war hero who fell on a hand grenade to save the lives of his comrades in Holland, was given full military honors yesterday. Military personnel sent as personal representatives of Gen, Mark Clark, Sixth army commander, stand at attention as the body is lowered into the grave at Greenwood cemetery, The congressional medal of honor was awarded posthumously to Private Mann.
