Answering the Last Call

Mrs. Eda Schneider is shown at the telephone switchboard answering the last call when the old system was converted to dial. This ended 35 years of service at the Reardan, Wash., exchange with the Reardan Telephone company, later the Interstate Telephone company and at present the General Telephone Company of the Northwest. The name Eda had become synonymous to telephone service through the years in the Reardan area.
