Diplomas Go to 1967 Class
REARDAN, Wash. — Graduation exercises for the 1967 class of Reardan High School were held in the gymnasium last night.
The processional and recessional were played by the high school band, and the invocation was given by the Rev. Virgil M. Speece. Susan Peek sang “Climb Every Mountain” and Lyle Anderson sang the "Holy City.” The valedictory and salutatory addresses were given by Phyllis Cox and Linda Garber. Supt. Joe B. Johnson presented the achievement awards and Glen Wisdom High School principal presented the graduating class of 1967. Wayne Remmers, school director, presented diplomas.
Honor award seniors were Lorri Anderson, Lyle Anderson, Phyllis Cox, Linda Doughty, Linda Garber, Randy Krupke, Craig Oehlschlaeger and Lorri Remmers.
Others in class were Dan Hudkins, Sandi Wendlandt, Roger Peterson, Marie Duenwald, Chris Reinbold, Lyle Anderson, Garry Anyan, Barbara Benhardt, Jeanne Bundy, Edith Clause, James Collins, Susan Weinman, Carroll Anderson, Sandra Ferguson, Robert Gerken, Einer Hansen, Lavonne Johnson, Claudia Kropff, Ronald Wendlandt, Gary Humphrey, Kathleen Head, Eldred Heath, Charles Krupke, Ned Landt, Sally Landt, Jean Little, Jean Michael, Rose Marie Paul, Mike Paul, Susan Peek and Virginia Schwartz.
Dr. Mark L. Koehler, president of Whitworth College, gave the commencement address, “Reaching For the Brass Ring.”
