William Mahrt Gets Doctorate

REARDAN, Wash. — William Mahrt, son of Mr, and Mrs. Peter Mahrt, was awarded a doctorate in music from Stanford University recently.

He is well known in this area having graduated from Reardan high school, attended Gonzaga for three years and received his bachelor and master of arts degrees from the University of Washington.

Dr. Mahrt has accepted an assistant professorship at Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio.
