Godfrey Man Build Biplane

ORIEN Wash., July 1.—R. Bowers of Godfrey has completed a Bleriot bi-plane and has made several short flights. He has arranged with: the Great Northern to ship his machine to Colville, where he will make flights on the Fourth of July, The engine sits on ton of the planes and the driver's seat is back and under the engine.

[The reporter appears to be a little confused. The Bleriot planes of the day were monoplane and the attached photo is of a monoplane.]
