The first set of aeroplane tires ever purchased in Spokane were bought last Saturday by R. Bowers from the Diamond Rubber company. Mr. Bowers refused to divulge his local address or his need for the aeroplane tires.
A wire was immediately sent to the San Francisco branch of the Diamond Rubber company for a set of the aeroplane tires, which will arrive here in a week.
