Creston Rancher Pays $1200 for Bowers Machine.
DAVENPORT, Wash., Oct. 10,—The first sale of an aeroplane in Lincoln county was effected this week when Reuben Bowers sold to Max Mecklinburg, a rancher residing near Creston, the four-cylinder biplane which had been constructed at the Bowers ranch south of Harrington.
The biplane, Which was successfully flown at the Bowers ranch two weeks ago by its youthful owner, brought $1200, according to the bill of sale filled at the auditor's office Monday.
