On September 7, 1948, twenty-eight Freshmen enrolled in Reardan High School. Out of the twenty-eight members, eleven entered from outside districts. At our first meeting the following officers were elected:

President: Clifford Wigin

Vice President: Marie Carstens

Secretary: Dale Dahlin

Treasurer: Joyce Delzer

Student Representative: Mary Bergeron

Advisor: Mr. McKay

We were invited to our first high school party [not by our own wishes] by the seniors on Oct. 7. This was our initiation party. Each freshman was required to perform certain stunts dictated to us by the seniors. We all lived, however, and really enjoyed the party.

During the school year we did not gain any new members, but did lose Billy La Rue from our class.

The Freshmen were well represented in Athletics. The following members having participated in football, basketball and baseball: Junior Anyan, Clifford Wigin, Dwayne Paul, Carl Rogers, Dale Dahlin and Wayne Repp.

Also two members of our class had leading roles in the All High Play. They were Marie Carstens and Dale Dahlin. Nancy Whipple was promoter.
