The highly talented Harrington squad gave us our first loss of the season when we played them on their own floor in another practice game. The score was Harrington 35 and Reardan 17.

The first conference game of the season was at Edwall on December 3. It was nip and tuck until the second half when the Indians pulled ahead of the Edwall squad, The final score was 34 to 24, with Richard Stuhlmiller making 10 points to be high point man.

The next Wednesday, Reardan traveled to Rathdrum, Idaho to be defeated by a score of 29 to 26 in an overtime non-conference game. The boys will remember Rathdrum as very fine hosts, as they served refreshments after the game.

December 14, Almira came to Reardan. The Indians took their second straight conference win 39 to 22. Junior Anyan topped scoring honors with 16 points. December 17 brought Reardan’s rivals, Davenport, to Reardan, where the Indians dumped the Gorillas 56 to 43. Richard Stuhlmiller and Kieth Schulz were high with 20 and 18 points respectively.
