Senior Class Prophecy

CONTINUED

Mary Nielsen gave up her flying ambitions and is now the best dad-gummed football player on the whole dadburned "All-Girls" Football Team at the Rosebowl in Pasadena. She was chosen "Miss Quarterback of 1960."

Iva Atkinson and her husband have gone into the cheese business. They are co-owners in the Lumpy Limburger Company, and are constantly surrounded by five of their little ‘cheezits.’

Charles Franklin has climbed high in his present profession. After his high school years, he joined the Embalmers, Pallbearers, and Undertakers Association. He is now head manager of the Inland Casket Company.

Lorene Tremer and her retired banker husband, have gone into the dairy business. They have a staff of ten yelling scalliwag kids which capably run their "Happy Drinking Dairy."

Marvin Carstens really did surprise us. Shore ‘nuff, he finally made up his mind. He and his little chocolate colored gal are raising tobaccy in southern Virginia.

Joyce Brommer is upholding the good old Senior name in Reardan. She and Wendel have just erected a new barber pole. I was informed that crewcuts are not snipping all over the place, but wigs are beginning to be the western style.

Mary Ann Good is employed in the dental business with her fiance. They make colored false teeth like your old grandpappy's "while you wait." Three shades are prominent this year—black, blue, and decayed.

Sally Landreth is plenty busy these days since the arrival of quintuplets. Claude has recently started doing the chores to lighten her load.

Rhoda Wasson became a traveling saleslady. She is selling old Dewey buttons, but the last time I heard she wasn't doing so well. Someone slammed the door and her foot was still in it.

Verdella Haeger is situated way down there in the long-horn state, hitched to a Texas millionaire, Wild Bill Hiccup. They are running a Riding Academy and raising little doggies.

Mr. Wisdom yawned, kissed all his little great-great-grandfolks goodnight and shooed them off to bed. Then he carefully wrapped up_his great, long white beard with an over sized Bobby pin and tottered off to bed still thinking of that class of 1950.
