The livestock judging team consisted of Bruce Tramm, Ronald Walthers, and George Carstens, placed second in the livestock judging contest held at the Lincoln County Fair on September 5. Bruce Tramm placed third in individual judging. Several members of the chapter had entries of livestock and vegetables at the Fair.

On September 14, the same judging team with Tom Rogers as alternate went to Colville to judge livestock at the Northeastern Washington Fair, The team placed fifth.

The chapter initiation took place on September 25. Twelve greenhands were initiated.
