The objective of the Lettermen’s Club is very well expressed in the preamble to their Constitution. “We, the lettermen of Reardan High School, in order to further athletics, bring honor to our school and to facilitate our guest of leadership”.

Boys belonging to the Lettermen’s Club are boys who have won letters in major sports only, namely, football, basketball, baseball and track. Managers of the various sports are entitled to managers letters.

The club sponsors several projects during the year. The club is responsible for the selection of the most valuable senior athlete and to see that his name is placed upon the Dr, Reinking trophy.

At least once a year the club undertakes some project which will raise money to be used in the furtherance of athletics at Reardan High School. The project this year was participation in the High School Carnival. The club was responsible for the following booths: bingo, fish pond, cat game, bottle game, penny toss, roulette wheel, dart game and swing ball. From the proceeds the boys were able to purchase new football, basketball and baseball equipment.

The lettermen organized at a meeting held October 15. The following officers were elected:

President: Dwayne Paul
Vice President: Ervin Christensen
Secretary: Paul Lillengreen
Treasurer: Clair Jones
Student Council Rep.: Charles Anderson

Mr. Johnson and Mr. Steele were the advisors for the group.
